Getting started

How do I get Recall24?

Recall24 works with Gmail, as an extension for Chrome, and with Outlook, as an add-in. Choose your email app on Get Recall24 and sign in with your Google or Microsoft account.

Does Recall24 cost anything?

No. Recall24 is free.

Do I need a new email address?

No. You keep using your own Gmail or Outlook address. Recall24 is not another inbox or email provider.

Sending and recalling

How do I send an email with Recall24?

Write your email as usual and send it with Recall24. It stays in your normal Sent folder.

How do I recall an email?

Within 24 hours of sending, find the email in Recall24 and choose Recall. You can follow each email’s status, including whether it was opened, in your Recall24 dashboard.

What happens after 24 hours?

The email’s 24-hour window ends. Recall24 deletes the message text and attached files, and the email can no longer be read through Recall24.

What does the recipient see?

A normal email from you. They don’t need to install anything or create an account. If they open it after you recall it, they see that it has been recalled instead of your content.

Can I recall an email someone has already read?

You can recall it, and that stops any further access through Recall24. But a recall can’t remove what the recipient already read, copied or saved. The sooner you recall, the better.

Are attachments included?

Yes. Files sent with Recall24 can be opened only while the email is live, and only through its link. When you recall the email, the files are recalled too.

Your account and privacy

Does Recall24 read my inbox?

No. The Gmail extension and the Outlook add-in read only the email you send with Recall24. They don’t read your inbox, contacts or other emails.

How do I disconnect Recall24?

Disconnect in the Gmail extension or the Outlook add-in, or remove it from Chrome or Outlook. Its sign-in token is removed from your device when you disconnect.

How do I delete my account?

Write to privacy@revokemail.com from the email address you use with Recall24, and we will delete your account and its data.
